FOR THE DARKBLUES :
Hello blues. Sorry can’t help you along during the bnco camp cos i am not going. Anyway below is a list of ‘tips and tricks’ I learnt during these 3 years of sj life, some of it you may already know, hope it helps you in some way or another (:
♥ sermin
TIPS & TRICKS TO SURVIVE IN BNCO camp
1) Rmb to greet all instructors at all times! Greet them as instructors if they are sergeant, staff sergeant, cadet leader, the Day Instructor as DI for his/her stint as the DI.
RMB NOT ALL OF THEM ARE OFFICERS! (ma'am/sir)
2) Put all usual bunk inspection things in a seperate plastic bag(for easy finding them during the frenzy first bunk inspection)
3) Just bring what you need, not what you want. Not too much, not too little and considering that anco and bnco bathe at the SAME time, you don’t have much time to bathe (sometimes there’s no time to bathe at all) which also means no need to bring so much clothes.
4) Please bring some powder if you are not bathing. Ever heard of powder bath? This is basic hygiene and respect for your fellow bunk mates ok and you also don’t like the idea of sleeping next to a stinky person right? XP
5) Do not bring expensive torches as there is a possibility of it being spoilt during bunk inspections.
6) Make sure your soap/shampoo is capped properly. You don’t want soap on the floor you are sleeping right? (thanks to throwing of soap/shampoo during bunk inspections)
7) For those who really need to bathe, pack each set of clothes into separate plastic bags (can just grab the bag and go during bathing time, saves precious bathing time) Please rmb to bring along your bath towel while rushing off!
8) Attach your fish tail with masking tape/scotch tape so it would not fall out so easily.
9) Please get another nametag if you have not already got it. (good for changing parade, 1 name tag on the shirt, 1 on the sj blouse. Don’t need to keep interchanging nametags between sj blouse and shirt)
10) Rmb that BNCO is about One for All, All for One. Help your sqdmates, help your grpmates, help your bunkmates, help whoever in need.
Behave well and do SNSJ PROUD! (:
