HEY HEY JUNIORS!
It's been a long time since i've been here! oh wells. Firstly, good job to the green badge for planning JTC and even though there were hiccups here and there, it was nonetheless a learning experience for all.
It was a pity that JTC turned out to be a day camp but i believe that for those who have attended and put it a 100% effort, it was still a relatively rewarding camp. don't feel disheartened that things turned out to be like that cause we have to understand that it's only natural to make mistakes, even stupid ones which are sometimes inevitable. To err is human, to forgive divine. Let us not dwell in what has already been done but strive to move on to more positive things like the upcoming POP yea :D
To the junior batches: hello you may not know me but it's ok. Take this JTC as an example and don't allow such blunders to happen again ok. meanwhile, plan well for your green batch's POP :D it's a way to show how much you appreciate them and it gives a nice finish to their 4years in SNSJ. your time will come eventually and you definitely want your POP to be well-planned and memorable right? Just to take note, do remember to send in your proposals early for approval and don't forget the little details. we don't want a repeat of blunders made yea. if you really , really want something, go all out to get it. in a professional and tactful way of course :D all the best in planning!
To the green batch: good job well done. i heard of your plans for night activities and i must say that i can see the effort put in by your batch to make this camp a good one for yourselves and your juniors. don't get bitter, just get better. take whatever that has happened in your stride and work towards attaining a new level of character development ok :D study hard for your Olevels and finish up your secondary education with a blast. you've already coloured your pages in SNSJ and i believe what you've all shared these 4years cannot be easily put into words. maybe 10/20yrs down the road, you'll still meet up for high-tea and discuss about lives because you know the bonds formed in SNSJ shall and will stay for a long time to come. treasure and cherish it.
alrighties, a long enough post.
i shall end off with this quote: life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.
someday, all of you will look back and your perceptions will all have changed by then.
cheers,
olivia
